On December 23, Tsinghua University and Yalong River Hydropower Development Company of SDIC (State Development and Investment Corporation) jointly held the unveiling ceremony of the Jinping Science Center (JPSC).

The Jinping Science Center bears the primary responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the China Jinping Underground Laboratory (CJPL). Currently, the laboratory hosts 14 research teams dedicated to cutting-edge fundamental science, including dark matter, neutrinos, nuclear astrophysics, rock mechanics, seismology, integrated circuits, gravitational waves, deep underground medicine, and quantum computing.
